AlpNet - The Initiative of  Destinations
Eight leading  tourism regions in the Alpine area are behind the InitiativeAlpNet: Tirol Werbung, Südtirol Marketing, Trentino Turismo, Be! Tourism, Graubünden Ferien, Luzern-Vierwaldstättersee, Valais Promotion und Rhone-Alpes Tourisme. Together they represent the members witht 245.3 Mio. Yearly overnight stays round 66% of all overnight stays in the Alpine area.
theALPS - the Training-event
The World-education-event of  theALPS is organized by AlpNet organisiert, occurs on an annual basis, and offers the opportunity discuss subjects relevant to destinations with experts on the matter.  Aside from the eight leading tourism areas, several vacation destinations, consultants and a few hoteliers participate every year. Michael Mitterhofer, Daniel Zahn and Massimo Caria are there for us as  webmarketing consultants.
This year the event will occur in Moena, Val di Fassa, from September 6 to 8, and as per usual the program is dichotomust.The first two days are mostly about networking, while the ALPS Symposium is on the agenda for the last day. At this symposium presentations and a round table serve to shed light on this year’s theme. The current theme of the year is Alpine Biking Tourism, and in the years to come, the future of wintersport, new activities for the Alpine summer, sustainable development and added value, as well as new markets for vacation in the Alps are to follow.
