Castles, lakes and wine - the holiday region Eppan
Just right for you!
For our customer, the holiday region Eppan, located in the South of South Tyrol, we developed a digital branding strategy and a responsive website. The website objective is to make the diversity and uniqueness of this region physically perceptible. To raise the region's profile and to gain new fans, we carried out a fan campaign on Facebook.
Our costumer faced us with a big challenge: the holiday region Eppan, with its many attractive offers, should be presented in a special way. Because of the regions diversity, nothing should be left out. In the meantime it was also very important to bundle and simplify the contents in order to organize the navigation as simple and clear as possible.
The main focus should be put on the holiday themes wine & gourmet, biking, hiking & active, lakes and nature, castles & culture. These themes are presented on the website and completed with the aid of emotional, extensive pictures, tips for each theme and offers. The holiday region is a place to experience and which truly offers endless possibilities for passing your holidays. Visiting the website we realized this very quickly.
The content is important
There was a great deal of emphasis placed on the contents: these will be constantly updated and pimped with interesting stories of the region and current events. Undoubtedly unique highlights of the website are the insider tips from well-known “Eppaner”, locals, as Eva Lechner, mountain bike expert or Herbert Hintner, star cook. These mix up the website and give the user an inside view of the region from different perspectives.
In the website has been integrated a social wall where all posts, tweets and Instagram pictures with the Hashtag “#Eppan” are collected and kept up-to-date. Therefore all users have the possibility to interact and to take part in the social world.
Finally, there is also a magazine on the website, where users can find exciting articles to different themes as cuisine, relaxation and wine. Using filters everyone has the possibility to filter relevant contents for himself and to learn more about the region and its UPSs.
Win new guests
One important goal of the website is to win new guests for the region. There should be generated more requests for hospitality businesses of the region: each accommodation has therefore the possibility to be presented on the website. Using a filter function, each user can find the accommodation which fits the best to his needs and make a request.

After all, Eppan is also present on Facebook. As Facebook lives from its fans, we developed a special Facebook campaign for the German-speaking area in order to promote greater visibility; we have succeeded in generating about 5,000 fans.
